Introduction – All About Me

Welcome!

My name is Tyler Kee and this blog will be all about me. I have always wanted to create a blog and this is my chance!  You will learn about what I enjoy, where I am from, and who I am.

I wanted to choose the topic of “All About Me” because for one, everyone loves to talk about themselves and two, it was the recommended topic for my college course, My Story on the Web.  I hope to take something that I love and use it to connect with other people, like Nia Shanks.  She uses her love and knowledge for fitness to help and inform others (https://www.niashanks.com/best-type-cardio/).  That sounds like something I want to do, just not with fitness.

The projects for My Story on the Web sound very interesting and I can’t wait to complete them.  My love for film will be implemented in almost all of them.  I might make a collage of some moments in my favorite films for part one.  That will be really fun to edit.  The video story for part four will probably be a movie review of some sort because I have always wanted to do film reviews on camera.  I plan on writing reviews, too, and I would like them to be something like Roger Ebert’s (https://www.rogerebert.com/reviews/safety-not-guaranteed-2012).  Film critic, Christ Stuckmann, is a very inspirational figure in my life, and I would like my video reviews to be like his but with my own spin on it (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2SglFUPQVnM).

The content for my projects in My Story on the Web will be original to avoid any copyright issues.  I plan on using my phone for capturing photographs and videos.  My phone’s camera is quite good so it should do the trick.  Adobe’s software is going to come in handy this semester with editing my content.  Adobe Audition will allow me to record and edit my audio, I will edit my videos with Adobe Premiere Pro, and my photos will be editing with Adobe Photoshop.

I couldn’t be more excited to embark on this journey with everyone!  I hope that the readers and I enjoy my content and I grow as a person through my writing.
